In the petrochemical sector, we manufacture styrene products: ethylbenzene (EB), styrene monomer (SM), toluene, general purpose polystyrene (GPPS), high impact polystyrene (HIPS), expandable polystyrene (EPS), and the pioneering ECO-PS®, with up to 30% post-consumer material in its composition, preserving the same mechanical characteristics as the virgin product.
In the transformed plastics sector, we manufacture bioriented polypropylene (BOPP) films, polystyrene (PS) and polypropylene (PP) reels and plastic caps for PET bottles of mineral water, juices, and soft drinks.
Our actories are strategically located in Manaus (Amazonas), Triunfo (Rio Grande do Sul) and Montenegro (Rio Grande do Sul), always close to customers from north to south of the country and into the world.
POLO FILMS, NOW INNOVA
Polo Films produces bioriented polypropylene (BOPP) at its industrial plant in Montenegro (RS). During its 45 years of experience, it has established itself as a benchmark for quality in the flexible packaging, labeling, adhesive tapes and other industries that use BOPP as an essential input.
In 2025, Polo Films was acquired by Innova, a Brazilian petrochemical company and manufacturer of processed plastics with a strong DNA for reinvention and intensive investments.
The acquisition of Polo Films, now Innova’s Plant III, consolidates the strategy of positioning factories in the north and south of the country: Amazonas (Manaus) and Rio Grande do Sul (Triunfo and Montenegro), always close to its customer industries and into the world.
In the petrochemical area, Innova manufactures styrenics: ethylbenzene (EB), styrene monomer (SM) and polystyrenes: general purpose (GPPS), high-impact (HIPS) and expandable (EPS), ECO-PS®, PS-3D.
In the plastic processing area, since 2012 Innova has been manufacturing bioriented polypropylene (BOPP) films in Manaus, as well polystyrene (PS) and polypropylene (PP) reels and closure caps for mineral water, juices, and soft drinks.
Sales and administrative areas are located at the Head Office in Alphaville, Barueri (São Paulo).

Our story comes from a time when image, sound, films, information, songs, needed a way to reach the public: media carriers.
Innova has its origin in Videolar, a manufacturer of blank and pre-recorded media (VHS, audio cassettes, floppy disks, CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray discs) reinvented as a petrochemical and processed plastics industry.
Until the last recorded media in 2022, it continues taking culture and leisure to the most remote corners of the country.
